Answers to common questions about podiatry appointments, fees and foot conditions at Kelmscott Podiatry.

Appointments & referrals

No. You do not need a referral to book an appointment with a podiatrist in Australia. You can book directly with Kelmscott Podiatry online or by phone. A referral is only required if you are claiming under a Medicare EPC plan or Department of Veterans’ Affairs program.

Appointments can be booked online through our secure booking system or by calling our clinic directly. If you are unsure which appointment type to choose, our reception team can guide you.

For your podiatry appointment, please bring:

• Any relevant medical referrals, including a Medicare EPC referral if you have one
• Your private health insurance card for on-the-spot claiming
• Any previous scans, reports or imaging related to your condition
• The footwear you regularly wear, especially if your concern is related to walking, running or sports

Bringing this information helps us provide a thorough assessment and personalised treatment plan from your very first visit.
